Welcome,
Now the 2014/15 Season is over and we ended the season completing the Treble. It is time to take stock of the season and where, if any, improvements can be made.
Player’s Stats
League
Marco Verratti and Yaya Sanogo were my star players in the Premier League. Shane Duffy was very impressive throughout the season has he cemented his place in the starting line-up. Jake Bidwell is only 21 and will get better but is some away off being just as good as Baines however I have faith that he will get there.
Cup
The Cups was the place for backup, reserve and youth team players to impress me and earn the right to be the in Senior squad or force their into the starting line up. Simon Hirst was of those that took the opportunity and scored 3 goals in 4 games. Craig Thomson was impressive when played in the right midfield role but his demands for first team football throughout the season was getting very irritating and left with no choice but to transfer list him. On the bright side Lascelles and Figueroa formed a good partnership which could will be good in near the future.
Continental
It was in the midfield where my team was most impressive with Marco Verratti was the pick of them with 3 goals, 7 assists and average rating of 7.69 over the 10 games he played in.
